The 2022 Asia Glass Industry Exhibition will be grandly opened in Singapore on October 26th. Let's take a look at the highlights of the first day of the scene!
The on-site discussion session was presided over by Timothy Soebroto, Deputy Director of Maijin Facade Architectural Design Consulting Co., Ltd., and the guest gave a speech on "Technical Development of Sustainable Glass Production".
This exhibition showcased glass art exhibits to the public for the first time around the 2022 International Year of Glass initiated by the United Nations. The exhibits are from 18 local artists, showcasing 49 artworks made by combining their traditional and modern techniques, depicting the theme of sustainable development.
Finally, an art glass installation competition was held on site. The participating units are: East Tech Glass Services & Construction Pte Ltd, Foo Sin Glass Pte Ltd, Full-Glass Pte Ltd and Glass Point Construction Pte Ltd. The competition was judged by the Singapore Glass Association and Foo Sin Glass Pte Ltd emerged as the ultimate winner for its speed, skill and craftsmanship.
